Step 1: Reclassify the wood

Step 2: Create a wooden box like a pushing board

Here, I will show how to make a wooden box:

Using a table saw, I cut two plywood panels that are 60cm long, 40cm wide and about 5 cm thick (depending on the size of the board you want to plan). Then, use specialized glue to attach the wooden panels. To complete the box, I sprayed it with a few layers of lacquer, followed by a gentle rub with sandpaper. You have created a lightweight, flat box. The method to make it is simple, right?

Note: If you can’t or you find that it takes too long to make this box. You can use aboard as well. However, make sure it is firm, flat and smooth.

Step 3: Flatten the board

The wooden board that you require to flatten will be placed on the box and made as level as possible using shims for full support. Use a strip of tape between the contact plane between the box and the board to prevent the panel from damaging, skimming or destroying the box while operating to planing. Start shaving from the small boards first. Then came thicker and longer wooden boards. Use a wooden push stick to save effort and safety for you.

Step 4: Use hot glue to stick the board down

To make the board guarded and securely in place by using hot glue. You don’t have to worry about the board while you plan it can move and fall out. Please also be assured. Glue holds the board firmly while you plan, but it’s easy to remove once the top surface has been planed.

Step 5: Plan the top of the board

The top surface of the board is now planed using the best thickness planer. You should plan little by little. This is particularly important because although the middle part of the board is not wobbly, there may still be any pressure from the cutter head that can cause the board to bend. As a result, the board is loose and uneven.

Step 6: Remove the glue

The hot glue can be removed with the help of the best wood chisels. You can pull the glue off the surface to be glued, or simply remove the tape and the glue will come with it.

Step 7: Plan the other side of the board

Now, put the new plane down and the other plane. Continue to plan as above

Step 8: Complete

 Step 8: You use screws to fasten the end of the glue tube immediately after use and preserve glue on the next time.

 Step 9: Wait for the glue to dry then trimming the excess glue and clean it.
